A couple of friends were sitting on a balcony with a cup of tea, chatting about how online shopping often goes one of two ways: you end up scrolling for ages through things you do not want, or you find something good but have no idea where it came from. That afternoon chat turned into a small project, and soon after the idea for the store was born. No elaborate mission statements or grand plans, just a place to bring together pieces they liked and thought others might enjoy as well.
This store is not about being flashy or trying to keep up with anyone else. It is about giving it a go and seeing where it leads us. We are still a small operation, just starting out and finding our feet. There is not heaps on the site yet, but what is there comes from late nights, second guesses and yarns over takeaway.
