A couple of friends were sitting on a balcony, enjoying a cup of tea while discussing how online shopping usually goes one of two ways — either you end up scrolling for ages through items you don’t want, or you find something good but have no idea where it came from. That afternoon conversation evolved into a bit of a project, and soon after, the concept for the store was born. There were no elaborate mission statements or grand schemes, just a space to gather things they liked and thought others might enjoy too.
This store isn’t about being flashy or trying to keep up with anyone else. It’s more about giving it a shot and seeing where it leads us. We’re still a small operation, just starting out and finding our feet. There’s not heaps of stuff on the site yet, but what’s there is the result of many late nights, second guesses, and yarns over takeout.
